A declaration of the gospel which must be believed for salvation must be EXPRESSED (written or verbalized) when doing outreach (lifestyle evangelism by itself cannot save anyone from hell). Also "many have 'fallen in love' with Jesus (Ghandi, et. al.) while rejecting the gospel." We MUST be careful what we win the lost by because that is what we win them to.
I find so many people that will call Jesus Savior, but they do not aknowledge Him as Lord. There in is the problem...it is not possible for Him to be either - He must be both. If He is not both, then a person is simply not saved...
I like your point about "falling in love" with their made-up gods. There is this song playing on our local "Christian" radio station about disregarding God's Word, obedience, fear of the Lord, etc. And the chorus is about - it's gotta be more like falling in love. Well, that definitely is a dangerous approach when it comes to the One true God! in much prayer - Paul
here's what i came up with on it if you care to check it out! enjoy :)

I had heard that you just love on people for so many years, and I did that, but knew something was missing! I love Romans 10:14 for that reason. How can they believe unless someone preaches to them...
I hear so often here at Liberty University that all we need is to help people and love them. They like that quote "preach the gospel, use words when necessary." I just have been thinking how that promotes a work-righteous system because the gospel is now a set of works. I am still trying to figure out how I can do something to show people that they are sinners in need of the Savior.
